About The Instructor
RIK ROBERTS
Rik Roberts began using humor to connect at an early age. With 30 years as a professional comedian and an evolving career as a public speaker, he still performs over 100 times a year as a headlining stand -up comedian. 1999 was the first year he began to teach comedy classes. He has since had 7 students go "full-time" into comedy. Countless speakers and even musicians have taken his courses to punch up their "banter" and write funnier songs.
In 2008 he expanded his offerings include three keynotes. Quickly, he found that the corporate clientele craved laughter. Time and time again they remarked how "dry" and "lifeless' their last speaker was. He is continuously re-booked by these clients because of the connection he makes with their audiences.
Rik is a happy husband and proud father of two younger kids and resides in Nashville, TN. He is a member of the National Speakers Association, as well as Past President of the Christian Comedy Association.
His comedy is heard daily on SiriusXM radio. He has recently released his DryBar comedy special "Put Down the Sweet Tea", appeared on PureFlix's "Clean Comedy All-Stars", and is a regular warm-up comedian and performer on "HUCKABEE" on TBN.
